IT Recruiter ( HR )

Job Description

The IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top technical talent to meet the organization’s or client’s business needs. The role requires a strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and current hiring trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand client or internal hiring requirements for technical roles.
  • Source candidates using job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and networking.
  • Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidate fit (technical, cultural, and behavioral).
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and technical teams.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Maintain and update candidate data in ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future requirements.
  • Stay updated with market trends, salary benchmarks, and new recruitment tools.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Key Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong knowledge of IT roles and technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Cloud, DevOps, Data Science, etc.)
  • Proficiency in using job portals (Naukri, Monster, Indeed, etc.) and professional networks (LinkedIn).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requirements and prioritize effectively.
  • Negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with ATS tools and MS Office Suite.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical/IT Recruiter (in-house or agency).
  • Certifications in Recruitment or HR (preferred but not mandatory).
