Job Description
The IT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top technical talent to meet the organization’s or client’s business needs. The role requires a strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and current hiring trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client or internal hiring requirements for technical roles.
- Source candidates using job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and networking.
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidate fit (technical, cultural, and behavioral).
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and technical teams.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Maintain and update candidate data in ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future requirements.
- Stay updated with market trends, salary benchmarks, and new recruitment tools.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Key Skills & Competencies :
- Strong knowledge of IT roles and technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Cloud, DevOps, Data Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in using job portals (Naukri, Monster, Indeed, etc.) and professional networks (LinkedIn).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and prioritize effectively.
- Negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with ATS tools and MS Office Suite.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical/IT Recruiter (in-house or agency).
- Certifications in Recruitment or HR (preferred but not mandatory).
